The City of Ostrava unveiled a Memorial to the Jews deported to Nisko in October 1939, outside the main railway station, in pouring rain and biting wind!  A Memorail to the film Director, Karel Reisz was unveiled on the flat where he lived.  Anne-Sofie von Otter  presented a programme of music at the Queen Elizabeth Hall by composers all of whom had been in Theresienstadt and all but one had died there
